Donald J. Trump was Inaugurated today as the 46th President of the United States. When he was the 44th President he did not have a pet. It has been reported that there are only 3 Presidents who never had a pet in the White House; Andrew Johnson, James Polk and Donald J. Trump. Since Trump did not own a pet during the last 4 years while living at Mara Lago, chances are that he will not have a pet this time around as President. Biden owned two German Shepherds; Major that was born in 2018. He was the first shelter dog to live in the White House. Champ lived in Washington during Biden's tenure as vice-president. The last time German Shepherds lived at the White House was when John F Kennedy was President.
