The fires that took place this week in LA were incomprehensible. Neighborhoods such as, Pacific Palisades, Eaton and Malibu were hit hard with damage. House after house were burnt down completely in many of these communities. A lot of people had no time to gather their personal possessions. Some of the victims of the fire had no choice but to leave their pets behind. Others, who left their home with their pet were in a position to drop off their pet at a local Humane Society. The Pasadena Humane Society announced that they had received over 400 pets in 2 days. Some were badly burnt and covered with ashes. One dog that was white looked grey from being covered with so many ashes. KCLA did an interview with a representative with the Pasadena Humane Society who explained in detail some of the stories of pets getting hurt and the response the local people had to help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8o_WI1VUw8 The best way to help is to send money to
